Supporting Selina to save Girls’ High School Sports

Dear WoLF women,

Please see this letter that WoLF has submitted to the Department of Education’s Office of Civil Rights, in support of Selena Soule’s complaint against her school and track officials.

Selena and her co-complainants should have had the opportunity to compete fairly, against other female athletes only. Instead, she was required to compete against male athletes who claim to be female. This is fundamentally unfair, and a set-back to the rights, privacy, and safety of women and girls. Selena is bravely taking a stand by filing a complaint with the Office of Civil Rights.

We strongly encourage feminists to write letters in support. You are free to use WoLF’s letter to help write your own. Selena needs all the support she can get, and this is your opportunity to make a concrete difference in the lives of female athletes!

Letters should be sent to ocr@ed.gov and addressed as follows:

Via email to: ocr@ed.gov
The Honorable Betsy DeVos
Secretary of the U.S. Department of Education

The Honorable Kenneth Marcus
